Job summary

Impact Food Group in London is recruiting a Central Support Chef to back a portfolio of schools across the London area. The role covers 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with mileage expenses and benefits including free meals, uniform and pension.

You will work with the Operations Manager to cover absences, train onsite teams, mobilise new contracts, and maintain high standards of quality, service and compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous Chef Manager experience in education preferred.
• Passion for food and customer service.
• Strong craft skills and leadership by example.
• Excellent organisation, flexibility and resilience.
• Ability to prioritise across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Cover chef manager absences across sites.
• Train and develop onsite catering teams.
• Assist with mobilisation of new contracts.
• Maintain high standards of quality, service and compliance.
• Provide hands-on kitchen support when required.
