Job summary

Morgan Hunt Recruitment is seeking a Group Catering Manager in Essex with sites in Basildon, Southend and Thurrock. The role is 37 hours per week, mainly Monday and Friday, at £25ph to £30ph Ltd, on a 3-month contract with Temp-to-Perm potential.

You will oversee catering operations across multiple campuses, develop menus, ensure food safety, support ordering for teaching kitchens, and lead a team of 17 staff. Travel between sites is required; a DBS check is essential or willing to undertake one.

Qualifications

• DBS check required or willing to undertake DBS.
• Full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Based at Southend with travel between Basildon, Southend and Thurrock.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Catering operation across three main Campuses (and two sub-sites).
• Prepare menus
• Ensure the food safety
• Assist with ordering and preparation of ingredients for teaching kitchens at Thurrock
• Manage the team of 17 staff
• Provide cover when supervisors are absent
