Job description

SF are excited to be partnering exclusively with a client based in Derby who have a newly created role as a Multi site Accountant on a full time, permanent basis.

This role is open to Part Qualified (CIMA/ACA/ACCA), AAT Qualified or Qualified by experience.

Salary up to GBP40,000
Study support
25 holidays + bank holidays
37.5hrs per week (8:30am-5pm)
1 day working from home
Based in Derbyshire with visits to various sites such as Rotherham, Stoke and Melton Mowbray (Once a month / 45p per mile paid)

Job purpose:

Provide support to Group Companies accounting functions and compile and collate Management Information.

Job duties:
- Provide support/cover in production of subsidiary Management Accounts and Group Board Reports
- Assist with credit control and sales ledger function
- Variance analysis to budget and forecast
- Experience in payroll processing
- Weekly and monthly cash forecasting
- Support for subsidiaries in annual audit process
- Regular visits to Group sites to assess areas for process improvement and roll out of Group reporting requirements
- Assist with or carry out any other activities as required by your Line Manager or Finance Director
- Knowledge transfer of role within department
- Coaching & Mentoring where required
- Adaptable to changing from one task to another during the working day often under pressure.
- Strong interrelationships with all functions of the Group businesses
