Tagged Resources Recruitment is seeking a highly creative Multi-Product Sports & lifestyle Designer to join our Manchester design team. You will work across apparel, underwear, and accessories, driving concepts from initial idea to production with a commercial mindset.

You’ll translate trends into compelling collections, collaborating with Design, Merchandising and Sales to deliver cohesive ranges while maintaining brand direction. A fast-paced, collaborative environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' experience in a sportswear design role.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Experience translating trends into commercial collections across apparel, underwear, and accessories.
• Strong communication, presentation skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop commercial product ranges across apparel, underwear, and accessories.
• Conduct trend research and translate insights into seasonal palettes and concepts.
• Create detailed technical packs, artworks, and product specifications for factory development.
• Collaborate with Design, Merchandising and Sales to build cohesive collections.
• Manage product development with Merchandising through samples and approvals.
• Analyze best-sellers and identify opportunities for range extensions.

Multi-Product Sports & Lifestyle Designer

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and commercially minded Sports & lifestyle Multi-Product Designer to join our growing design team in the heart of Manchester.

Working across an internationally recognised brand portfolio, including licensed and owned brands, you will play a key role in creating innovative, trend-driven collections across apparel, underwear, and accessories.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved throughout the entire product development process, from concept creation through to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop commercial product ranges across multiple categories, including apparel, underwear, and accessories.
• Conduct trend research and translate insights into seasonal colour palettes, mood boards, and product concepts.
• Create detailed technical packs, artworks, and product specifications for factory development.
• Ensure designs align with commercial objectives, customer requirements, and production capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with Design, Merchandising, and Sales teams to develop cohesive and commercially successful collections.
• Manage product development alongside the Merchandising team, including sample reviews and strike-off approvals.
• Analyse best-selling products and identify opportunities for updates and range extensions.
• Support the continuous evolution of product ranges in line with brand direction and market trends.

About You

• A highly creative and commercially aware designer with a strong understanding of the sportswear and lifestyle market.
• Minimum of five years' experience in a sportswear design role.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Experience using AI design platforms would be advantageous.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and proactive in your approach.
