Overview
Our Content Hub focuses on producing 7 day a week video football content, including features and creative edits. We are looking for an experienced Producer to join the Hub. Collaborating with the Hub editor, the Football Focus editor and our Creative lead, you will input creatively and operationally to support the growth of our Premier League digital offering. You will also work very closely with the League to ideate, set up and produce weekly content.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Editors of the Content Hub and Football Focus to ideate, plan and schedule content around key fixtures and editorial priorities.
- Collaborate with the Football Creative Lead to drive the creative ambition of big seasonal moments and key dates.
- Manage our relationships (main point of contact) with the Premier League, individual clubs and other key partners; negotiating access within and outside of contractual requirements.
- Oversee the planning, execution and distribution of feature content from within the Hub to wider BBC content teams and lead on roll-out plans for exclusive drops.
Qualifications
- The successful candidate will already be at Producer level or an experienced Assistant Producer who can demonstrate best practice in digital and TV production that is culturally aligned with the future of sport and our values at the BBC.
- The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate collaborative working and experience of multi platform production.
- The ability to edit Live studio programmes is a desirable skill for this versatile role.
Proposed salary range: £45,000 - £55,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. Flexible working will be part of the discussion at offer stage.
