Job summary

UTV is seeking an experienced Content Editor in Belfast to join a team of editors. You will support planning and coordinating day‑to‑day news gathering across online and on‑air content, and you may produce programmes as required.

You will curate news for ITVX and our websites, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. We expect a qualified journalist to NCTJ level or equivalent with at least three years in a broadcast newsroom or similar, and a proven ability to deliver engaging multi‑platform

Qualifications

• Qualified journalist to NCTJ level or equivalent.
• Min. three years in a broadcast newsroom or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong multi‑platform storytelling and editorial judgement.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate day‑to‑day news gathering online and on‑screen.
• Produce whole programmes and curate content for ITVX and news sites.
• Work with the News Management team to drive strategy and projects.
• May deputise for Senior Content Editor or Head of News when needed.
