Qualifications

• NCTJ level or equivalent journalism qualification with a minimum of three years in a broadcast newsroom or multi-media news operation.
• Experience in producing, editing, planning and online content across TV and digital platforms.
• Ability to coach and motivate colleagues while maintaining high editorial standards.

Responsibilities

• Programme producing, Bulletins and Opt production oversight with editorial, technical and compliance requirements.
• Lead day-to-day news editing and coordinate coverage of breaking stories and events.
• Online editing: curate ITVX, news app and website, driving digital media coverage.
• Lead planning for content across all platforms and ensure original, timely news and features.
