Overview

Our client is a global freight forwarding and Logistics company specialising in air freight, sea freight, road freight and contract logistics.

We are now recruiting for a Multi Modal Freight Imports Coordinator based in Wythenshawe

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage freight forwarding iimport shipments
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and carriers to arrange shipping schedules, negotiate rates, and handle all necessary documentation.
  • Prepare and process shipping and customs documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and trade compliance policies.
  • Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers and stakeholders on the status of their cargo.
  • Manage multiple shipments simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
Experience needed
  • Experience of working within freight forwarding imports
  • Knowledge of import procedures
  • Customs regulations including national and international shipping documentation.
  • Knowledge of CDS, Cargo wise and ASM Sequoia
  • You will have the ability to effectively build excellent working relationships and show the ability to interact professionally with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
