Job summary

Oceaneering is hiring an NDT Technician to perform non-destructive testing inspections, ensuring asset integrity and safety for client facilities. You will conduct UT, RT, MT and PT inspections, interpret results, and report findings in line with codes and client requirements.

You will maintain equipment, collaborate with engineering teams, and stay current with industry standards. The role requires on-site inspections, travel as needed, and a commitment to health, safety, and regulatory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate/Bachelor in NDT or Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of two years' NDT inspection experience.
• PCN/SNT Level 2 UT/MT and Level 1/2 RT certifications, or willingness to obtain within six months.
• Good knowledge of industry codes (ASME, API, ASTM) and data analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections using UT, RT, MT and PT methods.
• Interpret results and prepare inspection reports per codes and client reqs.
• Maintain, calibrate, and verify NDT equipment for accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams on asset integrity issues.
• Conduct on-site client facility inspections in a safe, professional manner.
• Document findings with detailed records for quality control and traceability.
• Stay updated on NDT technologies and industry best practices.
• Provide guidance to junior technicians to support knowledge sharing.
