Job summary

IPS Group is partnering with a leading insurance brand to grow their underwriting function across a regional office network. We are seeking Underwriters with experience in property, casualty or commercial motor to work on a diverse portfolio of risks, including Property & Casualty, Motor Trade and Motor Fleet.

You will assess, negotiate and underwrite a wide range of commercial risks, balancing underwriting discipline with customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in property, casualty or commercial motor underwriting.
• Experience handling commercial risks within a regulated insurance environment.
• Experience liaising with brokers and key stakeholders to secure premiums.

Responsibilities

• Assess, negotiate and underwrite a wide range of commercial risks.
• Work on new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments across multiple product classes.
• Develop technical knowledge across Property, Casualty, Motor Trade and Motor Fleet.
