Multi-Faith Chaplain - Volunteer, Lichfield

Location: Various locations throughout the County

Days/Times of availability: Minimum commitment of two hours a week, with flexibility to make oneself available as soon as other commitments permit.

Staffordshire Fire & Rescue Service is seeking volunteers for the role of Multi-Faith Chaplain. This role supports Staffordshire Police by providing spiritual support to officers, staff, and volunteers, regardless of religious belief. Chaplains serve as friendly, supportive listeners, respecting the diversity of the police service and the wider community. They aim to build bridges of understanding and may also articulate community concerns or challenge perceptions of the police.

Key responsibilities include being a befrienders, providing support and encouragement, and fostering community-police relations. Full duties are detailed in the attached role profile.
