Driver Hire Stevenage & Hatfield in Letchworth is seeking an Experienced Multi-Drop Van Driver to join our dedicated team. You will perform daily multi-drop deliveries, load/unload, plan routes, and maintain vehicle checks while delivering excellent customer service.

The role is full-time and permanent with a company vehicle provided during working hours, pension, holiday entitlement, and opportunities for overtime. A clean UK driving licence and ability to work Saturdays are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (maximum 3 penalty points).
• Previous multi-drop van driving experience is essential.
• Excellent knowledge of UK road networks and route planning.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physically fit, as the role involves manual handling and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily multi-drop deliveries and collections within designated routes.
• Load and unload the vehicle safely and securely.
• Plan routes effectively to maximise efficiency and meet delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Obtain proof of delivery and complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers at all times.
• Follow all road safety regulations and company policies.
