Job summary

Driver Hire Stevenage & Hatfield is seeking an Experienced Multi-Drop Van Driver in Letchworth. This full-time, permanent role includes a company vehicle during working hours, overtime opportunities, and pension benefits.

You will deliver and collect on designated routes while providing excellent customer service and driving safely. Key requirements include a full UK licence (3 points max) and multi-drop van experience, with strong route planning and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (max 3 penalty points).
• Multi-drop van driving experience essential.
• Good knowledge of UK road networks and route planning.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physically fit for lifting and manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual and well presented.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily multi-drop deliveries and collections within routes.
• Load and unload the vehicle safely and securely.
• Plan routes effectively to maximise efficiency and meet schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Obtain proof of delivery and complete required paperwork.
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.
• Follow all road safety regulations and company policies.
