Job summary

Interaction Recruitment PLC is recruiting for a Multi Drop Van Driver to join our client in Hemel Hempstead. You will operate 3.5-tonne vehicles, carry out pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and ensure all cargo is loaded and secured with care.

Shifts run Monday to Friday, starting at 06:00, with guaranteed 8 hours per day. The role includes weekly pay, immediate starts for suitable candidates, and on-site canteen facilities, with a valid UK Category B licence required.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category B driving licence.
• Minimum 12 months experience driving Category B vehicles.
• No more than six penalty points (minor infringements only).
• Good knowledge of the UK road network.
• Ability to speak and read a good level of English.
• Excellent punctuality and time-keeping.
• Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations.
• Effective communication with dispatch and customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive various 3.5-tonne vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Carry out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure all cargo is correctly loaded and secured.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company procedures.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers.
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist with loading and unloading when required.
