Job summary

Driver Hire in Chessington is seeking a Van Driver (Category B) for a busy team. You’ll handle daily multi-drop deliveries to pharmacies and hospitals, lifting totes up to 25 kg, with early starts and occasional long days. A reliable, friendly approach is essential, with a neat, professional appearance.

£14.40 per hour (Advance PAYE) with overtime at £16.40 and weekly pay during the trial period; there’s a strong chance of a permanent role after 12 weeks for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (Category B) with no more than 6 points.
• Multi-drop experience is a must.
• 2+ years van driving preferred.
• Physically able to lift light parcels and handle totes up to 25 kg.
• Professional, presentable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 20–30 tote boxes per day to pharmacies and hospitals.
• Lift tote bins with weight up to 25 kg.
• Keep the van clean and tidy; present a friendly, professional image.
• Be available for early starts and occasional long days.
