Job summary

The Best Connection are working closely with our international client to source additional Van (Cat B) Delivery Drivers for their Middlesbrough office.

The role involves safe operation of a 3.5 tonne vehicle, parcel delivery and multi-drop rounds across the North, with training provided for scanning devices.

Hours are Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00, with overtime and ad-hoc long-term opportunities; pay includes up to £22.10 per hour after 45 hours.

Qualifications

• B licence with no more than 6 points and no DD or DR endorsements.
• Minimum of 6 months driving experience.
• 5 years of checkable work history.
• A DBS check will be carried out for successful candidates.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of a 3.5 tonne vehicle (generally a long wheel base).
• Vehicle provided.
• Use of a scanning device (training given).
• Parcel delivery and collection.
• The work is multi-drop of around 40 deliveries/collections per day across the North.
• Deliveries to business and domestic customers.
