Job summary

Vanta Staffing are recruiting a Multi Drop Van Driver for our client in High Wycombe. The role is temporary-to-permanent, with regular weekday work and potential for a permanent position.

The driver will make local deliveries and collections, often with a driver's mate. The job requires a UK driving licence, physical capability for lifting, and reliable, professional conduct. Starting at 07:00, Monday to Friday in High Wycombe.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (Category B)
• Minimum of 6 months' recent van driving experience
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling
• Experience working alongside a driver's mate
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good knowledge of the local area would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Completing multi-drop collections and deliveries within the local area
• Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
• Working alongside a driver's mate when required
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
• Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance concerns
• Ensuring goods are handled and transported securely
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection points
• Following company procedures and road safety regulations
• Managing delivery routes efficiently and safely
