Job summary

Cencora's Alliance Healthcare team in the UK is seeking a Multi Drop Delivery Driver to ensure speedy, accurate delivery of pharmaceuticals to pharmacies and hospitals from Letchworth. You will perform daily vehicle checks, maintain the vehicle and cargo security, and support warehouse tasks as needed.

The role requires a valid driving licence, strong communication skills, and good numeracy. Salary is £35,227.32 for a 12-month fixed-term contract, with a normal 43.65-hour work week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pharmaceuticals to pharmacies and hospitals efficiently and safely
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report faults
• Load and unload orders, ensure correct orders on drop sheets
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and security of cargo
• Assist with warehouse duties as required and meet Health & Safety requirements

Job Title: Multi Drop Delivery Driver Location: Letchworth Hours per week: 43.65hrs M/T/W/TH/F 12 month fixed term contract Salary: £35,227.32 Job Summary To ensure the speedy, efficient, and accurate delivery of pharmaceuticals to pharmacies and hospitals. Key Responsibilities: • To maintain a safe a competent standard of driving, observing speed limits and other traffic signs and giving due regard to other road users. • To have a daily check to ensure that your vehicle is in a roadworthy condition including a check of the lights, brakes, coolant, etc. • To report any faults, breakdowns, accidents or delays. • To maintain the internal and external condition of the vehicle together with the cleanliness of the vehicle. • To ensure sufficient quantities of fuel have been taken for the day's work. • To maintain the security of the vehicle and its contents at all times. • To check all orders shown on the drop sheets and ensure all orders are loaded on the vehicle. • To collect goods returned for credit, mail, delivery bins and their safe return to the branch at times instructed by the branch management. • Ensure damages/breakages are dealt with promptly and correctly with due regard to special procedures for HazChems. • To always maintain a smart appearance. • To help maintain good customer relations. • To be involved in other duties including warehouse tasks as defined by the Management. • Meet all Health & Safety requirements. .
