Job summary

Hiring People is recruiting self-employed Multi-Drop Delivery Drivers across Essex and Kent. Training and support are provided, with opportunities to work four or more days weekly and weekend shifts required. Vehicles may be provided, with varying fuel/insurance arrangements per opportunity.

Rates are competitive and routes last about nine hours depending on the assignment. Roles involve loading parcels, following routes via app, and delivering with excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• Manual or automatic driving licence.
• No more than six penalty points on licence.
• No DR, DG, CD, TT or IN endorsements.
• Aged 21 or over for insurance purposes.
• Ability to lift and handle parcels safely.
• Good communication, organisation and time-management skills.
• Reliable, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic spoken English to communicate with customers and colleagues.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to complete required background checks and meet insurance criteria.
• Previous van driving or multi-drop delivery experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Loading, scanning and organising parcels before departure.
• Following pre-planned delivery routes using a delivery app.
• Delivering parcels safely, efficiently and within required timeframes.
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional attitude.
• Managing time effectively and following delivery procedures.
• Handling parcels carefully, up to 23 kg each.
• Representing the logistics partner professionally while working independently.
