Job summary

Hiring People recruits self-employed Multi-Drop Delivery Drivers for trusted logistics partners across Essex, Thurrock and Kent. Training and support are provided to help you start your independent delivery work.

Drivers have access to company-provided vans and flexible opportunities across Essex, Thurrock and Kent, with potential weekly weekend work and routes starting around 11am for roughly nine hours per day.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• Manual or automatic licence accepted.
• No more than six penalty points on licence.
• No DR, DG, CD, TT or IN endorsements.
• Aged 21+ for insurance purposes.
• Ability to lift and handle parcels safely.
• Good communication, organisation and time-management skills.
• Reliable, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic spoken English to communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Load, scan and organise parcels before departure.
• Follow pre-planned delivery routes using a delivery app.
• Deliver parcels safely and on time.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitude.
• Manage time effectively and follow delivery procedures.
• Handle parcels weighing up to ~23 kg.
• Represent the logistics partner professionally on the road.
