Job summary

Pertemps North Midlands is recruiting multi-drop van drivers for our Swadlincote operation. This temp-to-perm role involves residential deliveries with a busy workload (20-60 drops per day) and a strong focus on customer service.

Hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to around 5 pm, with occasional Saturday shifts every 6–7 weeks at enhanced rates. Applicants must be 21+, live within about 30 minutes of the depot, have fewer than six points on their licence and pass 5-year work history vetting

Qualifications

• 5 year work history vetting and DBS check required.
• Aged 21 and over.
• Live within 30 mins of the depot.
• Fewer than 6 points on driving licence.
• No CD/DD/DR endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels to commercial and residential properties.
• Ensure POD is completed correctly.
• Delivering excellent customer service at POD.
• Operate a designated route with 20–60 drops per day.

Pertemps have an excellent opportunity for multi drop van drivers to join our client's operation in Swadlincote, easily accessible from Burton and Derby. This is a rapidly growing organisation involved in residential multi-drop delivery work. As such, customer service is at the forefront of this requirement.

For this role you will be required to undertake 5 year work history vetting and successfully pass a DBS check.

Working Hours / Shift Patterns

• Monday to Friday
• 7:30am to finish which is usually around 5pm
• Additional Saturday shift required every 6-7 working weeks (enhanced rate)

The successful Multi Drop Delivery Driver will:

• Have previous van driving experience ideally for companies in pharmaceutical / consumables
• Undertake 20- 60 drops per day on a designated route
• Deliver outstanding customer service at POD
• Have fewer than 6 points on your licence
• No CD / DD / DR Endorsements
• Live within 30 mins of the depot (ideally)
• Aged 21 and over

Your duties as an Multi Drop Van Driver will include:

• Delivering parcels to commercial and residential properties
• Ensuring all POD is completed correctly
• Delivering excellent customer service

You will receive:

• £13.05 per hour + overtime enhancements
