Job summary

Bestway Healthcare is seeking a Multi-Drop Driver to safely deliver pharmaceutical products to pharmacies, hospitals, and clinics across the UK. The role requires passing an enhanced DBS check before starting and maintaining strict compliance with pharmaceutical transport guidelines.

You will plan routes, manage deliveries, keep accurate records, and provide excellent customer service. A clean UK driving licence and ability to work independently are essential, with physical fitness for handling

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, following traffic laws and safety protocols.
• Plan routes and perform multi-drop deliveries to pharmacies, hospitals, clinics and healthcare facilities.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including proof of delivery and inventory checks.
• Provide high level customer service and address inquiries or concerns.
• Comply with pharmaceutical and regulatory requirements, including temperature-controlled transport guidelines.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized and communicate delivery progress to dispatch.

As a Multi-Drop Driver, you will have a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of pharmaceutical products to our clients. You will be responsible for transporting and delivering pharmaceutical supplies to various locations efficiently, while upholding the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and Customer Service.

Please note that due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check before employment can commence. This includes both spent and unspent convictions, as well as information held by local police deemed as relevant to the role. Employment is conditional on satisfactory DBS clearance.

Main Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, following all traffic laws and safety protocols.
• Effectively plan routes and execute multi-drop deliveries to pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities in a timely and organized manner.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery records, including proof of delivery, inventory checks, and any necessary paperwork.
• Provide a high level of customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Comply with all pharmaceutical and regulatory requirements, including temperature-controlled transportation guidelines.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly. Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized.
• Maintain clear and open communication with the dispatch team and supervisors, providing updates on delivery progress and any unexpected issues.

The Ideal Candidate

• Valid clean UK driving licence
• Experience in multi-drop deliveries or similar delivery roles (preferred but not essential)
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical transportation regulations and safety (preferred but not essential)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow delivery schedules.
• Physical fitness to handle packages and work in various weather conditions.
