Job summary

C&C Group Plc in the UK is seeking a Multi Drop Class 2 Driver to join the Matthew Clark team on a full-time basis, delivering orders to customers with a Driver's Mate, ensuring deliveries are safe, on time and in full.

You will work Monday to Friday with occasional weekend peaks; must have over three years of driving experience including 12 months Class 2, hold an HGV and CPC licence, and pass DVLA checks; strong customer service and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of driving experience, including at least 12 months of Class 2 driving.
• Valid HGV driving licence and CPC licence.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle inspection checks and ensure orders are secured and packaged for delivery.
• Liaise with Driver’s mate to confirm running sheets and customer orders.
• Inform customers of delays or stock shortages and manage expectations.
• Assist with unloading orders at customer premises and handle returns.
• Ensure health and safety procedures and Tachograph rules are followed.
