Job description

Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading Waste Management Company to recruit a Multi-disciplined Technician on a 2-month contract for its Leeds location.

The Multi-disciplined Technician comes with a competitive hourly rate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and repairing faults on an extensive range of electrical/mechanical equipment
• Carry out Root Cause Analysis and play an active role in investigating recurring faults and engineering solutions
• Carrying out Planned preventative & reactive maintenance
• Identification and purchase of essential maintenance spares
• Preparing procedures and risk assessment for maintenance tasks
• Planning and carrying out improvement projects
• Supervision of maintenance sub-contractors
• Carry out other reasonable tasks and duties as requested by management
• Work on all the site's Mechanical/Electrical assets including pumps, motors, compressors
• Accurately record maintenance using a CMMS to help plan future maintenance activities
• Stock control of site maintenance spares
• To be aware of and work within company Health, Safety, and Environment and Quality systems
• Environmental reporting of incidents to line management
