Job summary

Cornerstone Project Source Ltd is recruiting a Permanent Multi-Discipline Roofing and Cladding Estimator in Essex. This role focuses on tenders, take-offs, pricing and bills of quantities across flat roofing and rainscreen cladding for projects up to £4M.

The estimator will prepare bids in collaboration with the estimating director, attend handover meetings, and negotiate with clients on site to secure the best price. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• 5 years estimating experience in flat roofing and rainscreen cladding.
• Knowledge of U-values, take-offs and pricing.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tenders and bids from enquiries.
• Take accurate take-offs from drawings and specs.
• Calculate rates including labour, materials and preliminaries.
• Populate bills of quantities and pricing schedules.
• Attend handover meetings with project teams.
• Meet clients on site to discuss requirements and pricing.
• Maintain records of tender submissions and RFIs.
