Volunteer Role in Kent:
  • Supporting victims of crime in our multi-crime service.
  • Providing one-to-one support via telephone or face-to-face.
  • Working with our Volunteer and Community Engagement Manager and Caseworkers.
  • Providing validation, reflection, and information.
  • Participating in monthly social events and presentations with multi-agency partners.
Requirements:
  • Be 18 years or older.
  • Volunteer at least 3 hours weekly for 12 months.
  • Complete a 10-week training including virtual days, workbook, and online modules.
  • Undertake an enhanced DBS check and join the update service.
  • Provide two satisfactory references.
  • Have a working email address for communication.
Expenses:

Volunteers can claim out-of-pocket expenses including travel and lunch.
