Volunteer Role in Kent:
- Supporting victims of crime in our multi-crime service.
- Providing one-to-one support via telephone or face-to-face.
- Working with our Volunteer and Community Engagement Manager and Caseworkers.
- Providing validation, reflection, and information.
- Participating in monthly social events and presentations with multi-agency partners.
Requirements:
- Be 18 years or older.
- Volunteer at least 3 hours weekly for 12 months.
- Complete a 10-week training including virtual days, workbook, and online modules.
- Undertake an enhanced DBS check and join the update service.
- Provide two satisfactory references.
- Have a working email address for communication.
Expenses:
Volunteers can claim out-of-pocket expenses including travel and lunch.
