Our authentic American diner is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic reservationist to join the team.

A great experience in one of our fantastic authentic diners could start with you! You will be the first friendly interaction regarding a visit to Billy Bob's Parlour, whether that is a delicious meal in our American diner, a visit to our award-winning play, or booking one of our awesome birthday spaces.

You will be working daytime hours in our offices to help us ensure we deliver an outstanding level of service to our customers and internal team departments. For the most part, you will be based at our Myerscough branch with initial training and occasional shifts at our Skipton branch, so a central location would be ideal.

This role is for 40 hours, 9-5, 5 days per week, including weekend work.

• Your shifts will all be daytime hours, leaving your evenings free to spend with family and friends. You need to be available to work some weekends, bank holidays, and during school holidays.

  Key responsibilities

  • Fully understand and be able to communicate effectively our promotions, processes, and FAQs.
  • Enthusiastically engage with customers and adapt tone to suit each situation.
  • Show initiative when you don't know something by confidently seeking answers and maintaining customer trust.
  • You’ll be on the phones taking bookings, answering questions, and sending emails directly to our diners, plus a variety of simple admin tasks such as inputting invoices and data.
