Who we are looking for

CF Global/State Street seek an experienced and technically sophisticated Multi Asset Class trader, VP who will execute EMEA Fixed Income, Equity, Futures and Options activity. The role is a key member of the Portfolio Solutions trading team, serving as execution management point person on behalf of the business’ partnered trading clients. The role will include coordination across all 3 global regions: Americas, EMEA, and APAC.The successful individual is highly likely to have some buyside experience but may also have worked on the sell side in a trading role with a strong understanding of data for Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) and Execution consulting purposes.

What you will be responsible for

As a Partnered Trading, VP you will:

Trading:

  • Execution main focus will be Fixed Income but Multi-asset experience would be preferred (Equities, Futures, Options). Clients are Asset Mgrs, Pension Funds, Family offices and Hedge fund

  • Communication with client investors on pre-trade analysis and opportunities

  • Defining trading strategy and implementation with trading team

  • Monitoring of market movements and communication of execution opportunities to clients.

  • Willing to stay current by study and by understanding global market structures for Fixed Income, Equity, as well as direct market access and underpinnings of algorithmic trading

  • Assist in managing broker relationship.

  • Perform due diligence via questionnaire and in-depth studies on brokers, smart-order routing, algorithm behaviour and dark pool structure and participants

  • Managing system vendors (Bloomberg, Fidessa, MarketAxess, Tradeweb, etc)

  • Maintain trading procedures manual

  • Update of various screens and reports for weekly investment meetings

Work with Operations to:

  • Ensure timely delivery of trading data to counterparty (broker, administrator)

  • Ensure clean reconciled data available for start-of-day positions and trading

  • Drive automation of manual processes

Execution and TCA Tools:

  • Transaction cost analysis to evaluate execution with goal of improving trading efficiency

  • Perform, quarterly formal TCA analysis and meeting delivery to clients and compliance

  • Evaluate and drive innovation and progress on TCA tools for all asset classes

  • Keep abreast of industry trends and new providers of trading insight
