Job summary

Lancashire County Council in Preston (Hybrid) is seeking a Coordinator for the Lancashire Safeguarding Business Unit. You’ll work with colleagues across children’s safeguarding, health, police, and local authority services to coordinate governance and audit activity.

The role supports the delivery of the Children’s Safeguarding Assurance Partnership (CSAP), analyses data, and helps shape policy and practice across Lancashire.

Qualifications

• Experience in safeguarding, quality assurance, audits or performance.
• Understanding of children's safeguarding practice, policy and statutory duties.
• Ability to analyse complex information and produce clear insights.
• Organised, self-directed and thrives in multi-agency settings.
• Committed to person-centred, strengths-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate governance and audit activity across safeguarding.
• Analyse data and support safeguarding reviews.
• Help shape policy and practice across Lancashire.
