Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Sports Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sports coaching and a commitment to educating children of all ages. You will be responsible for planning sessions and programmes, to enhance children's skills, and foster a positive and motivating environment that encourages personal and athletic growth. The role includes an element travel with sessions across Kent, therefore a driving license is essential for this role.

What We Do

We run a variety of programmes on a daily basis, below is a list of programmes we are currently running to give you an idea of what we do as an organisation:

School Breakfast Clubs

Community Outreach

Community Sessions

Parkinsons Boxing

Adults Boxing Fitness

Events - Fete's, Sporting events and more

Holiday programmes

Most of our programmes are with children but we do also do some adult work too:

Duties

Design and implement coaching sessions tailored to the needs of individual children and groups.

Educate athletes on the rules, techniques, and strategies of their respective sports.

Ensure that all activities are safe and engaging.

Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude among all children.

Maintain open communication with children, parents, and other staff members regarding progress and development.

Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and trends in sports education.

Qualifications

Proven experience in sports coaching or a related field is essential.

Strong knowledge of a variety of sports, we coach a vast amount of sports across our programmes.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate effectively.

Ability to work well with individuals of varying skill levels and backgrounds.

Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in planning sesions and events.

First Aid certification is desirable but not mandatory.

A passion for sports and commitment to fostering a positive sporting environment is essential.

A driving license is essential for this role due to the nature of the work, going from one session to the next.
