Job summary

Lantmännen in Bedford is seeking a motivated maintenance engineer to diagnose, repair and maintain a range of electrical and mechanical production systems in a fast-paced FMCG environment. The role is based in Bedford, operates Monday to Friday, and is part of our global bakery family.

You will work with production and technical teams to diagnose faults, maintain equipment and contribute to safety, reliability and performance improvements across the site.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 year’s multi-skilled engineering maintenance experience ideally gained within FMCG or high speed/volume production environment.
• Proven experience of mechanical, electrical, PLC’s and an understanding of control systems
• Formal training in CI/LEAN techniques would be advantageous

Bedford | Food Manufacturing | Monday – Friday

You will be great at:

• Fault diagnosis and repair of a wide variety of electrical and mechanical systems. To include: - Pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, valves, ovens, mixers, pressure systems, refrigeration units


• Collaboration with the production/technical teams to resolve engineering issues in a controlled/logical and professional manner


• Methodically diagnosing machine and system faults on production equipment

Kvalifikationer

• A minimum of 3 year’s multi-skilled engineering maintenance experience ideally gained within FMCG or high speed/volume production environment


• Proven experience of mechanical, electrical, PLC’s and an understanding of control systems


• Formal training in any CI/LEAN techniques would be advantageous
