Position Description

You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying integration solutions that connect multiple enterprise systems, applications, and data sources. This is a hybrid role with homeworking and 2/3 days a week in our office or the clients. All applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) to Security Check (SC) level as a minimum.

Your future duties and responsibilities
  1. Design, develop, and implement MuleSoft APIs and integrations to support digital transformation initiatives.
  2. Collaborate with business and technology teams to understand integration requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  3. Develop API-led connectivity solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  4. Create and maintain RAML and OpenAPI specifications for RESTful APIs.
  5. Ensure best practices in API security, governance, and performance optimization.
  6. Perform unit testing and integration testing to validate API functionality and reliability.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in integration services.
  8. Work with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to automate API deployments.
  9. Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers and stakeholders.
  10. Stay updated on MuleSoft product updates, API management trends, and industry best practices.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
  • Demonstrable experience in MuleSoft development (CloudHub 2.0).
  • Strong expertise in API development, microservices architecture, and integration patterns.
  • Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Anypoint Studio.
  • Proficiency in DataWeave, RAML, JSON, XML, SOAP, and RESTful services.
  • Hands-on experience with MuleSoft connectors, transformations, and message processors.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and on-prem hybrid integrations.
  • Knowledge of event-driven architecture, messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS), and ETL processes.
  • Experience with OAuth, JWT, SAML, and API security best practices.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Exposure to Salesforce.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have, but not essential:

  • Exposure to ServiceNow, or other enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization for API deployments.
