Job summary

Barbour is seeking an Integration Developer to join its IT team during a modernization phase. You will design, build, and maintain enterprise integrations that connect cloud and on‑premise systems, B2B partners, and e‑commerce channels using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

The role emphasizes SQL Server, SSIS, API-led integration, and collaboration in an Agile environment with developers, architects, PMs, and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and SSIS.
• Strong SQL skills, performance optimization, and data transformation.
• Knowledge of API-led integration architecture and enterprise patterns.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical designs.
• Experience using Azure DevOps, Git, Jira, and Confluence in an Agile delivery environment.
• Education: Computer Science degree or equivalent.
• Experience in apparel, fashion, or retail is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and CloudHub.
• Build APIs using REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and RAML.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and SSIS ETL packages.
• Implement integrations between internal systems, cloud platforms, and external trading partners.
• Perform unit and integration testing and provide 2nd/3rd line support for API and database issues.
• Document data mappings, interfaces, and technical specs.
• Collaborate with architects, PMs, and external vendors in an Agile environment.
