Job summary

VerifyUs is seeking a surface logging specialist for offshore oil and gas operations in UK North Sea. The role requires offshore certification and the ability to work on an Adhoc basis at field sites.

Applicants should hold a Geology degree or related earth sciences and have knowledge of drilling equipment, lag time calculations, and petroleum geology to monitor well parameters and ensure safety and data integrity offshore.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology, Geological Applied Sciences, Earth Sciences or Applied Sciences.
• Knowledge of Drilling Equipment and Techniques.
• Understanding of Lag Time calculations.
• Knowledge of Petroleum Geology.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all well parameters.
• Maintain Geoservices sensors to detect well conditions.
• Maintain gas detection equipment to analyze hydrocarbons.
• Ensure safety by detecting potentially harmful gases.
• Own the integrity of collected samples.
