Job summary

Cheshire East Council in Macclesfield is recruiting MST practitioners to deliver intensive, home-based interventions for children and families across the borough.

You will train in the licensed MST model, participate in on-call duties, collaborate with schools and partner agencies, and maintain accurate case records.

The role offers hybrid/remote working where possible, a comprehensive benefits package and a salary between £41,771 and £48,072 per year.

Qualifications

• Must have degree and relevant professional experience.
• Experience working with children, young people and families.
• Knowledge of child development, trauma and safeguarding.
• Skilled in evidence-based interventions and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver intensive, home-based interventions to children, young people and families.
• Complete assessments and develop tailored plans to promote positive change.
• Strengthen parenting skills, family relationships and emotional wellbeing.
• Work closely with schools, partner agencies and wider support networks.
• Manage a caseload and maintain accurate case records.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision and training.
