Job summary

Bupa Exeter is seeking a Sports and Exercise Medicine Consultant/MSK Physician to deliver high-quality clinical consultations and procedures at our Exeter Health Clinic. The role involves working within a multidisciplinary MSK team, with self-employed/fee-split arrangements and flexible hours (full or part-time).

We require GMC registration, CCT in SEM, post-graduate Diploma/MSc in MSK/SEM, and strong patient-care skills.

Qualifications

• GMC registration and licence to practice required.
• CCT or equivalent in Sport and Exercise Medicine.
• CCT in Sport & Exercise Medicine.
• Post-graduate Diploma or MSc in MSK Medical or SEM from a recognised awarding body.
• Excellent customer skills and a passion to deliver high levels of evidence-based care.
• Significant experience of working within an MSK/SEM MDT.
• Ideally experience treating private patients.
• Experience with sports injuries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal, organisation and time management.
• Interest in continuing development – professional and business.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical consultations and procedures to a high level of care for SEM/MSK conditions at a Bupa Health Clinic in Exeter.
• Work within a multidisciplinary MSK team of experienced clinicians.
• Provide patient-focused care and participate in ongoing professional development.
