Job summary

University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust is offering a 0.73 WTE Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist post in MSK IP and OP. The role covers outpatient MSK and trauma orthopaedics within a large Therapy Services department, with flexible part-time hours and opportunities for supervision and development.

You will rotate through MSK specialties, contribute to in-service training, and provide high-quality patient care within a fast-paced, supportive environment in Southampton.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
• Experience in MSK outpatient and inpatient orthopaedics.
• Post-registration CPD and NHS experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work in a MDT.
• Experience with on-call rotas and respiratory on-call where relevant.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in MSK outpatient and orthopaedic in-patients.
• Rotate through MSK specialties with supervision and training.
• Work 27.5 hours per week (0.73 WTE) in a 4-day pattern.
• Participate in weekend orthopaedic service and on-call rota.
• Contribute to in-service training and development within the department.
