Job summary

University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust is seeking a Consultant MSK Radiologist to join a team delivering a broad range of musculoskeletal radiology. The role involves shared duties with colleagues, a PACS workstation, and options for home working.

Applicants should be prepared to join 7-day on-call patterns to support inpatient services. We value subspecialty interests and provide opportunities for innovation within a regional sarcoma team and one-stop services for Orthopaedic and Rheumatology

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration.
• Fellowship Royal College of Radiologists (or equivalent).
• CCT in radiology and entry on Specialist Register (or expected within 6 months of interview).
• Broad skills in general and cross-sectional imaging including acute imaging services.
• Ability to offer expert MSK imaging opinions across the full range.

Responsibilities

• Share an office with other consultant radiologists; share a secretary with the team.
• Provide PC and PACS workstation; option for off-site location for home working.
• Share on-call commitment equally with existing consultants; participate in 7-day working pattern.
