Job summary

East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Band 6 MSK physiotherapist to join the Integrated Musculoskeletal, Pain and Rheumatology Service (IMPReS). Based initially at Pendle Community Hospital, you will rotate across sites and supervise junior staff, deputise for Band 7 colleagues, and contribute to service improvement.

You will assess patients, set goals, deliver skilled MSK treatments, maintain CSP-compliant records, and participate in continuing professional development.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered physiotherapist required.
• MSK physiotherapy expertise preferred.
• Band 6 level with leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, discuss goals and expectations with them.
• Deliver highly skilled MSK treatments and provide education to patients and carers.
• Maintain accurate CSP-compliant patient treatment records.
• Supervise and train junior health care professionals including students.
• Deputise for Band 7 physiotherapists as appropriate.
• Maintain own competency through CPD and portfolio development.
• Contribute to service improvement and ensure policy compliance.
