Job description

Would you like to join an experienced and innovative multidisciplinary musculoskeletal services team? We are seeking a new graduate or someone seeking to extend their experience in musculoskeletal Physiotherapy to join our friendly team.

Our team provides timely and skilled assessment and treatment of MSK conditions to facilitate and improve patients' quality of life and maximize their independence. You will work predominantly in a clinic setting, and with appropriate training, you will have the opportunity to participate in a small element of community orthopaedic visits.

We offer a structured and varied support and training program, including preceptorship, regular in-service training with external speakers, clinical supervision within small groups, and departmental peer review. External training is actively encouraged, and funding is available upon application. The MSK Service also includes our MSK Assessment and Triage Service (MATS) and our MSK Podiatry team, who support specialist skill development.

Quality is at the core of our MSK Service, and we develop our services by nurturing talent within our team. ECCH is renowned for its commitment to CPD and research. We are committed to innovation, having recently developed and launched an updated website, an innovative self-referral platform, online patient booking systems, and a patient self-management tool.

Main duties of the job
  1. You will provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and advice to patients.
  2. You will work with various assessment and treatment interfaces, including face-to-face clinics, telephone, video, community visits, web triage, and classes.
  3. You will be responsible for the physiotherapy assessment of patients, including their needs and any associated risks.
  4. Using clinical reasoning skills, you will develop treatment plans appropriate to the patient, considering their physiotherapy care, risks, and wellbeing.
  5. You will collaborate closely with local partners, including the Wellbeing Service, MSK Triage, and MSK Podiatrists, to provide holistic care.

ECCH is a well-established healthcare provider delivering NHS care within the community since 2011. We offer NHS, community health, and social care services mainly across the Norfolk/Suffolk borders. We are aligned with NHS terms and conditions and offer many employee benefits. For more information, visit our website - www.ecch.org.
