Job summary

Your World is recruiting an Acute Physiotherapist (Band 5/6) in Reading, starting 01/10/2026. You will deliver patient rehabilitation in acute wards and help restore independence.

You will conduct assessments, design plans, utilise mobility equipment, document per HCPC, and work within a MDT. Requires BSc/MSc Physiotherapy, HCPC registration, and UK Right to Work; achievable within two weeks and for a minimum three-month placement.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in an acute setting.
• HCPC registration is essential.
• A recognised degree in Physiotherapy (BSc or MSc).
• UK Right to Work is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive neuro-musculoskeletal assessments and create tailored rehabilitation plans for acute ward patients.
• Utilise evidence-based therapeutic techniques and mobility equipment to progress discharge pathways.
• Maintain HCPC-compliant documentation and ensure continuity of care within the Trust protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage a dynamic caseload.

• Operational Success: Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to manage a dynamic caseload, ensuring high-quality intervention during critical recovery windows.

Requirements:
