Job summary

South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking an Experienced Extended Scope Practitioner in Musculoskeletal to deliver advanced MSK assessment and management within a community-based team. You will provide clinical leadership across MSK services and support colleagues in primary care as part of the First Contact Practitioner scheme.

The role requires advanced clinical reasoning, strong communication skills and a commitment to service development, with potential for injections/prescribing

Qualifications

• Physiotherapy degree or equivalent.
• Current registration with Health Professions Council.
• Non medical prescribing qualification or to achieve within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Screen musculoskeletal referrals to determine appropriate management.
• Perform advanced specialist assessment, diagnose and plan treatment with patient consent.
• Lead in clinical development of musculoskeletal services and pathways and support CPD for staff.
