Job description
Overview

Our normal place of work will be Salford Royal Hospital, part of the Northern Care Alliance. Primarily based at Salford Royal Hospital, with possibility of some activity at other sites.

Role

We are recruiting a Consultant Radiologist with musculoskeletal and cross-sectional imaging experience/training to support and develop the radiology service. The post holder must have full registration with the General Medical Council and a valid licence to practice, and be on the specialist register for Radiology or be within 6 months of CCT or equivalent at the time of interview.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in MDTs and contribute to the general work of the department, including general diagnostic radiology on call.
  • Support and develop the radiology service, with a focus on musculoskeletal and cross-sectional imaging.
  • Be part of flexible job planned activity, including home reporting where applicable.
