A leading healthcare provider in Glasgow is seeking a part-time Advanced MSK Physiotherapy Practitioner to join their MSK Physiotherapy Service. The role involves working across hospital and community settings, focusing on the assessment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions. Ideal candidates will have specialist experience and excellent teaching skills. This position offers flexibility in clinical practice and opportunities for service improvement.
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across a wide range of clinical and non-clinical roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million, expanding to 2.2 million when including regional and national services.
This is a part-time post of 18.5 hours per week. (Please note the salary is pro-rata for part-time hours.)
The shift pattern for this position is standard hours.
We offer an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and highly skilled Advanced MSK Physiotherapy Practitioner (APP) to work in hospital and community-based sites as part of the NHSGG&C MSK Physiotherapy Service.
We are seeking an individual with specialist experience in assessing, managing, and rehabilitating musculoskeletal conditions—primarily upper and lower limb. The role requires excellent teaching and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate audit and research evidence into best practice. The post involves a flexible approach to clinical practice, supporting service and clinical improvement projects within the MSK Physiotherapy Service. The post holder will also provide support to other clinicians across the quadrants.
This position is based in the South Quadrant of the MSK Physiotherapy Service.
