Applications are invited for the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2025, aimed at outstanding early-career researchers with a PhD (awarded within the last 8 years) in relevant engineering or physical sciences disciplines. The successful candidates will join the research group led by Dr. Sathiskumar Ponnusami, focusing on computational solid/material mechanics, multiscale damage and fracture modeling, deep learning applications in mechanics, and multifunctional aerospace composites.
Requirements
– PhD in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science, computational mechanics, applied physics, or a closely related field (awarded within the last 8 years)
– Demonstrated research experience in one or more of the following: computational mechanics, damage/fracture modeling, machine learning applications in mechanics, or aerospace composite materials
– Strong motivation to engage in interdisciplinary research
– Excellent communication and collaborative skills
