Job description

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and forward-thinking staff nurse/ODP to work within orthopaedic scrub theatre team at the National Treatment Centre - Highland (NTC). Orthopaedic experience is preferential, but training could be provided if required.

The NTC-H is a new purpose-built centre which provides care for both Ophthalmology and Orthopaedic Patients. The Centre is located at the City's University Campus and has 5 theatres, a 24-bedded ward and dedicated Ophthalmology Outpatient Department.

There are 2 dedicated hip/knee arthroplasty theatres delivering 38 procedures per week. Orthopaedic day case hand and foot procedures are also performed two days per week.

The role would involve scrubbing for arthroplasties and potentially hand & foot cases. The successful applicant will form part of a dedicated orthopaedic team delivering a high standard of care. Visits to the department are welcome.
