Commercial / Residential Valuation Surveyor - (Senior Surveyor, Associate Director, Director level) - Home working.

Hiring in Bristol / Bath and surrounding areas.

Latymer Search is pleased to partner with an excellent, fast-growing independent valuation firm. Established four years ago, they have grown to a team of around 16 full-time employed surveyors along with an external team of consultants.

Having had several conversations with the owner/Director, I find him to be very down-to-earth, forward-thinking, likable, and well-balanced. They are happy to allow people to work with autonomy and provide training/support where needed. The team supports each other through regular company meet-ups, including golf days and weekly social calls. It appears to be a positive and enjoyable group of people.

Offering:

• Basic salary - Open to discussion depending on experience - Up to £75,000 per annum, plus car allowance and bonus.

• Lucrative bonus structure - Approx. anything over £200k billed, 25%; over £350k billed, 40%. Open to discussion depending on experience and location.

• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

• Car allowance or electric company car option.

• Private Healthcare (single or family).

• Standard state pension.

Additional information:

• Average report turnaround times are 5-10 days for commercial and 5 days for residential.

• Bonus paid quarterly.

• Average fee is approximately £2,000.

• 95% of workload involves loan security work, approximately 70% commercial, with the remainder being HMOs, Redbook valuations, and residential.

• Valuers on approximately 200 UK bank panels and growing.

• Each surveyor manages their own diary with support from a team secretary.

• No glass ceilings; promotion is based solely on performance.

• Technology used includes Kel, Searchland, Salesforce, Property Data, Rightmove, CoStar, EIG, ProMap, BCIS, Credisafe, Kamma.

• Approximately 3-4 jobs per week, depending on complexity.

All figures are approximate; additional car allowance and bonus payments may apply.
