Job description

MRICS / FRICS hybrid working Valuation Surveyor (office based, hybrid working) - Hiring in London and Essex (main office in Boreham, Essex) - Basic salary between £45,000 - £58,000 approx. depending on experience, location and personal contacts.

With a longstanding company history, my client is a multi-disciplinary consultancy, offering many services including corporate valuation. The company has around 30 professionals, with a professional valuation team of 8, focusing on commercial and residential valuation work (50/50), secured lending, and private valuation work.

Depending on experience and individual agreement, they ideally require you to work from their head office 2-3 days per week, especially at the early days of joining the team. Over time, they may be open to 1 day in the office per week, or 1 day every other week.

The team is led by friendly, genuine, and non-micromanaging management who focus on quality over quantity. It is a stable, long-established professional setup that offers opportunities for future career development and progression.

Additional information:

• Typically, 2-6 jobs per week depending on complexity
• Average report turnaround time of 3-5 days
• An office in London is available for use during the week if workspace is needed
• Reports are paper-based, using standard methodology and textbook layout
• A dedicated manual booking team and admin team support valuers

All figures quoted are approximate; there may be additional car allowances or bonus payments.
