A healthcare organization in Croydon is seeking an MRI Transformation Lead to oversee the transition of MRI services in-house. This senior role demands strong leadership, stakeholder management, and operational expertise in Radiology. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading change initiatives within a hospital environment. The position offers a competitive salary between £82,906 to £94,632 and the potential for flexible working arrangements.
The MRI Transformation Lead is responsible for leading and delivering the In-housing project of MRI services at Croydon University Hospital. Currently, MRI services at Croydon are delivered via an independent sector provider. Croydon services' senior leadership are looking to in-house the MRI services going forward. This role requires close working with the Lead MRI Superintendent and other Superintendents to ensure provision of an efficient & responsive MRI Service throughout the transition process. The post-holder will be instrumental in ensuring that the Trust continues to meets national targets, such as Referral to Treatment (RTT) standards, and delivers high-quality care in a timely and cost-effective manner.
The MRI Transformation Lead is a key senior post supporting the delivery of the Trust's transformation agenda. The Lead is accountable for working in a professional manner and in accordance with the Trust's defined methods, governance and reporting. The post holder will be responsible for working with the Director of Transformation and The Director of Integrated Surgery, Cancer and Clinical Support Directorate (ISCCS) to ensure budgets are adhered to and that projects risks, issues and benefits are managed on time and as planned. This includes the production and maintenance of all relevant plans, controls, protocols, and the effective transition of these plans into a smooth operational service.
The MRI Transformation Lead will provide subject matter expertise as well as the rigour required to deliver complex change in a large organisation. As such the post holder is required to have strong interpersonal skills and is expected to be able to present well at high level internal board meetings.

Croydon Health Services provides integrated NHS services to care for people at home, in schools, and health clinics across the borough as well as at Croydon University Hospital and Purley War Memorial Hospital.
CUH provides more than 100 specialist services and is home to the borough's only Emergency Department and 24/7 maternity services, including a labour ward, midwifery-led birth centre and theCrocus home birthing team.
Purley War Memorial Hospital (PWMH) in the south of the borough offers outpatient care, including diagnostic services, physiotherapy and ophthalmology services run by Moorfields Eye Hospital, alongside an onsite GP surgery.
