Qualifications

  • ARRT Registry in Radiology is required; MRI registry preferred.

Job description

Overview

The MRI Technologist works under minimal supervision to assist the Chief Technologist in performing diagnostic and invasive MRI procedures for patients, working effectively with patients and other clinic personnel, assisting with PACS and outside images, and routing patients and/or their images appropriately.

The MRI Technologist position is dedicated to our Breast MRI Facility only. A candidate with previous breast experience in mammography and/or breast ultrasonography is preferred but not required. The MRI Technologist will rotate between MRI Breast facilities in Fayetteville, AR; Bentonville, AR.

  • Be observant for artifacts and keep them to a minimum
  • Obtain patient history as needed
  • Perform and assist other technologists during procedures, helping to put the patient at ease
  • Act as an agent to obtain pertinent information to aid the physician in diagnosis care and treatment
Qualifications
  • Graduation from a certified Radiological Technology Program
  • 2 years related experience and/or training preferred but not required
  • ARRT Registry in Radiology required; MRI registry preferred
  • CPR certification
